The Hanson curriculum is tailored to assure success in college.  Students follow a “College Bound” tract.

The dignity of each student is recognized.  We encourage an awareness of that dignity to help each student maintain a healthy self-concept.

    • In our school community, each student is provided with the knowledge, skills and critical thinking ability needed to meet the challenge of higher education and to become a productive member of society.

    • We strive to broaden and enrich the interest, perspectives, and life of our school           community by exposing our students to the appreciation of arts and culture.
    • All members of our school community are educated in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

    Under the Auspices of the Diocese of Lafayette over 80 years of Catholic Education Approved by Louisiana Department of Education Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. Member of: the National Catholic Education Association, Louisiana Citizens for Educational Freedom, Louisiana Association of School Executives, Louisiana Association of Principals, and The Louisiana High School Athletic Association.

    Faculty and Administration number themselves among members of National Organizations including National Council of Teachers of English, NC of T Mathematics, Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance, National Council for Social Studies, and National Science Teachers Association.
