Message From the Principal

 

 



Father Benoit
Fr. Lloyd Benoit, Chancellor St. John/Hanson
Father Benoit is a native of Arnaudville, LA.  His seminary studies were at Immaculata Seminary in Lafayette, St. Joseph Seminary in Covington, and Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans.  He was ordained on June 16, 1990.  His assignments prior to Church of the Assumption were St. John Cathedral in Lafayette, St. Joseph in Cecilia, Holy Rosary in Kaplan, and St. John the Baptist in Lyons Point.  He became pastor of Assumption in 2007
.

Kim Adams
Kim Adams, Principal (Administrator)
Kim Adams earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education with a Journalism minor from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches.  Mrs. Adams began her teaching career at Hanson in August of 1979.  After teaching for 7 years in the high school setting, she returned to school at UL to receive certification hours in Middle School Education.  While at Hanson, she has coached basketball, softball, and tennis and has taught in both the high school and junior high.  Mrs. Adams has served on several accreditation teams around the state and has served as chairperson of Hanson’s School Improvement Team.  Mrs. Adams now enters into her first year as principal of Hanson Memorial, the school which she has dedicated her career. Kim is married to Rodney Adams.  They have 2 daughters Jade, Hanson Class of 2004 and Kelli, Hanson Class of 2005.

 

 

 

 


Ryan Stoute, Dean of Students
Ryan Stoute earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Kinesiology and a English minor from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.  Mr. Stoute began his teaching/coaching career at Hanson in August of 2005. While at Hanson Mr. Stoute primarily taught High School Literature and Physical Education. Mr. Stoute currently serves as the Junior High Athletic Director,and Head Baseball Coach while also assisting in football. Mr. Stoute is married to the former Jade Adams.

 

Richard Sandusky
Richard Sandusky, Athletic Director, Assistant Dean of Students
Richard Sandusky earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Studies with concentration areas of Health/Physical Education and Social Studies from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.  Mr. Sandusky was also a four-year letterman on UL’s football team from 1997-2000.  Mr. Sandusky began his teaching/coaching career at Hanson in August of 2001.  While at Hanson Mr. Sandusky has taught World Geography, Financial Math, Introduction to Business and Health/P.E.  Mr. Sandusky also served as the Head Softball coach for six years and is entering his sixth year as Athletic Director and Head Football coach.  Mr. Sandusky is married to the former Amy Trepagnier.  They have two children Bronson (7) and Leighton (8 months).

 

MRS MILLIE

Millie Senette, Secretary
The face of Hanson Memorial High School, Mrs Millie has served the Hanson School Community for nearly 25 years. The warm smile of Mia is usually the first example of Christ that students are shown daily at Hanson Memorial. Mrs. Millie is married to Bob Senette. They have 3 sons Robbie, Hanson Class of 1989 Rock, Hanson Class of 1992 and Seth, Hanson Class of 1998. Millie currently has one grandson Bret, who currently attends Hanson Memorial.
