75th Hanson Memorial Holiday Classic

This upcoming season marks the 75th Anniversary of the Hanson Holiday Classic.  In 1940, Coach Mac invited Cathedral of Lafayette from the north and Thibodaux High from the south to meet up in Franklin for an "exhibition style round robin" which included Hanson Memorial.  Each team played the other and while we do not know the victors of each game his invitation to these schools began what is today knows as the longest running basketball tournament in the state of Louisiana.

To commemorate the 75th Anniversary, we are inviting all former basketball players back to Billy Gene Talbot Gymnasium for this year's tournament that runs December 16-19.
