The Hanson Memorial Track team has great tradition. Our track teams hold numerous district and regional championships and many individual championships. The track members at Hanson Memorial High School represent their school to the fullest at each track event, by showing great sportsmanship and character. The dedication and hard work the teams displays during the season is unmatched by any other team in the state.
Hanson’s track and field athletes’ desire to strive for excellence, realize that nothing of value can be achieved without hard work and dedication, derive fun from their toil and camaraderie, display self-confidence, hone their ability to competition, cooperate as part of a team. “Track and Field is a sport for everyone for life” (http://www.usatf.org/about/).
