The mission of the Hanson Memorial High School library is to provide resources that will enable students to become effective users of information, developing a pattern of lifelong learning and fostering a love of reading.
Among the many resources available for our students is the Accelerated Reader program, a computerized reading and management program. The purpose of this program is to motivate students to read, read, read. Our students are definitely reading, having amassed over 6,600 points and reading 45,943,327 words from June, 2009 until December, 2009.
A full-time librarian, Mrs. Cindy Hebert, is available and eager to assist students and faculty and can be contacted by phoning 828-0694.
