Cafeteria lunches are available daily for students. The cost of a student's school lunch (Line 1) for the 2025-2026 school year is $4.25 (Hanson) and $3.95 (St. John Elementary).
My School Bucks is the system the Diocese of Lafayette uses for families to purchase and pay for school lunches online/on their app. You can also write a check and send it to school if you prefer. Please put the child’s name and grade level in the memo. If you have multiple students at two different schools, please send checks to each school. Checks are made payable to Food and Nutrition.
Applications for free lunch and meal modification requests can be found at fns-dol.org. Hanson & St. John are under the district labeled "Diocese of Lafayette". If you believe you may qualify for free/reduced lunch, please apply as soon as possible. Re-application is needed year over year.
The FNS website also contains the answers to many questions, such as the menu, the special diet form, and contact information for all FNS Central Office personnel. All cafeteria policies are designated by the Diocese of Lafayette.
